Voisin-Hunter Limited is a firm of Chartered Surveyors that commenced trading on the 1st January 2005. Prior to that, the Practice traded as a partnership under the name of David Hunter & Co., which was set up in January 1990.
We joined forces with Buckley & Co Chartered Surveyors with effect from the 1st May 2008.
As Chartered Surveyors we conduct ourselves at all times in accordance with the provisions of the Regulatory Structure of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
We are covered by Professional Indemnity Insurance and subscribe to the RICS Clients Money Protection Scheme (details available on request).
Managing Director, Simon Buckley FRICS has overriding responsibility for the business and is supported by Chris Marsh TechRICS.
Voisin Hunter Limited now operates from newly acquired offices situated at One The esplanade.
Simon Buckley, Managing Director.
In 1995 Simon joined the Channel Islands Office of Cushman & Wakefield Healey & Baker and was promoted to Partner in 1999. His principal areas of work were industrial brokerage, property management and development/site acquisition. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield Healey & Baker Simon also served as an industrial and office broker at Neilson Holt in Southampton.
Simon then joined Cushman & Wakefield in October 2000 as Director of International Operations, based at the Global Headquarters in New York. Simon was part of Cushman and Wakefield’s international marketing team, providing US brokers and their clients with a single point of contact for facilitating and implementing business strategies and real estate programs, whether they were based in the US or elsewhere in the world. Client accounts included Readers Digest, WPP, McGraw Hill, Softbank, and AMS.
Simon returned to Jersey in March 2002 to continue and expand upon his previous role and in December 2003 set up his own Jersey based practice, specialising in all forms of commercial property. Simon is a Fellow of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, holder of degree in real estate from Southampton and has over 20 years of practical business, sales and marketing experience in real estate. In 2006 Buckley and Company Limited developed and moved into their bespoke offices. In this same year Buckley and Company Limited were also promoted to Alliance Partner status within Cushman & Wakefield network. In May 2008 the practice of Buckley and Company merged with that of Voisin Hunter Limited.
Chris Marsh, Associate Director joined Voisin-Hunter Limited in April 2005 having previously worked with the States of Jersey Housing Department and in the finance industry. Chris holds a Diploma in Surveying Practice and is a technical member of the RICS. He is currently working towards a degree in Estate Management and has primary responsibility for the residential management element of the portfolio.
Voisin-Hunter Team, the Property Management Team comprises six Property Managers, an accountancy team and a Receptionist/Secretary.
